Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These terms apply to every order placed on this website with Twitter Bikes (ABN 63 139 054 606) ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. ORDERS
An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order in writing (for example by order confirmation email). We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable or a price was listed in error; if we cancel, we refund any amount you have paid in full.
Product images are illustrative. Colours can differ slightly on screen. Specifications may be updated by the manufacturer; if a change materially affects your order we will contact you before dispatch.
2. PRICING
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Twitter Bikes is not registered for GST; no GST is charged. Free worldwide delivery, including import duties and fees; there is no shipping charge and nothing extra to pay on delivery.
Optional upgrades (for example carbon rims or motor options) are priced separately and shown before you place your order.
3. PAYMENT
Payment is due in full when you place your order unless we agree otherwise in writing. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout (pay-later options such as Afterpay and Zip are available only for Australian delivery addresses). We do not store your full card details.
4. DELIVERY AND LEAD TIMES
We deliver free of charge worldwide, including import duties and fees. Bikes ship in a box and need to be assembled before the first ride. It is packed and dispatched within 3–4 business days of order confirmation, and delivery usually takes 3–4 weeks. Made-to-order and custom bikes (for example custom colours or upgrades) can take 6–12 weeks. Lead times are estimates; we will keep you informed of any delay.
You must provide a correct delivery address and make sure someone can receive the delivery. Redelivery costs caused by an incorrect address or a missed delivery may be charged to you.
Please inspect the carton on delivery and report visible transport damage to us within 7 days of delivery, with photos.
5. RISK AND TITLE
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership (title) passes to you once we have received full payment.
6. ASSEMBLY
Bikes ship in a box and need to be assembled before the first ride. Before first ride, have a competent person, ideally a qualified bicycle mechanic, assemble the bike and complete safety checks (brakes, bolts, tyre pressure, handlebar and seat position). Follow the included manual and torque specifications. Damage or injury caused by incorrect assembly is not covered by our warranty, to the extent permitted by law.
7. E-BIKES AND LEGAL USE
You are responsible for using your bike in accordance with the road rules and laws that apply where you ride. In Australia, an electrically power-assisted cycle used on public roads and paths must generally comply with the 250W / 25 km/h pedal-assist limits. Motor upgrades above 250W, including the 750W option, are for off-road use on private land only. See our E-bike & Safety Compliance page for details.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Subject to those rights, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by misuse, incorrect assembly, unauthorised modification, or use of the bike outside the law or the manufacturer's instructions. Where our liability for goods not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use can lawfully be limited, it is limited to replacing or repairing the goods or paying the cost of doing so.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Northern Territory.
